Reflection
This is my feeling toward on this subject and teacher after I've been learning critical reading. At the first day of the the semester I heard that this subjest was very hard and boring but in fact it was not at all. I've been learning this subject for 15 weeks and I get a lot of knowledge, I learn what critical reading is about, I learn how to critisize books, sheet or review by using my critical reading and thinking step by step, I learn how to distinguish between factand opinion, the teacher gives me a chance to think and share my idea with friends, I learn how to learn by myself without asking the help, I learn how to find negative and positive words of the reviewer toward through his review. I learned a lot from this subject, it gives me more than just a subject because it's my entire world teaching me to think critically and I can apply my learning skills in critical reading to use in real life and other subject. I would like to say thank you very much to Aj. Usa Noytim for teaching me everything about critical reading and taking care me as her good student, I'm really thankful and it's very kind of her. I promise I won't forget her lesson, I'll be a good model for the other as she does to me. I like this subject very much and also the teacher.
Everything of these lessons touch my heart, I will never forget.

Diary 15
Today is the last day for learning with Aj. Usa Noytim, we learned a litter bit continuing from the last lesson, but before we learned, the teacher checked our assigments, who was absent on midterm, who had still not sent assignment and then we learned about Facebook. I learned what Facebook is, learned how many users does Facebook have and even I got to know that Facebook still has been sharing and getting benefit from us without permission. Then I answered in sheet with the teacher and friends. I also learned steps how to opt out of Facebook 's new profile sharing is multiple step process. Howeve, I found that there're both good and bad of using Facebook, we should beware and be awear. I didn't found the difficulty of learning this lesson today. I like this lesson.

Diary 14
Today I learned about reading editorial, we got to know the word "editorial" first, then the teacher led us to the lesson. I learned about trying to find fact of Obamacare insurance sheet, and this was not a good one, this company provides low benefit for customers as we could see at the end of sheet, the reviewer's opinion was negative toward on this company. I found that this lesson was very conplex and hard but I'll try to improve my skills.

Diary 13
Today I learned about movie review and advertisement. I did exercises about reading advertisement, I learned that advertising will have positive word on that product or something, it might be short or long but contains a lot of useful infromation to persuade us to buy it and to think about. I learned about the target audience of the advertisement and the feature of that, I also learned about the theme or main feature of the advertisement. Then the teacher gave us homework to fing the information of three advertisement and I handed out my last homework about movie review to the teacher. I found that it's quite difficult for the lessons today to find the theme of the advertisement or the product but it's fun and challenging. I'll learn more to make me better.

Diary 12
Today I studied about movie review, the teacher led the lesson by offering us to write on the board about the words which concerned movie review. Then the teacher gave us some sheet about the first grader sheet; two sheet, the first one is about the reviewer's positive attitude toward on the first grader movie sheet, and the second one is reviewer's negative attitude. I read and tried to find the positive and negative words of the reviewer. And then she started to teach us about how to read the advertisement. At the end of the class, she asked us to do the movie review that we like. I really the lesson because I could share my idea with my friends. It made me want to read the movie review after I watch movie. It was a great lesson.

Diary 11
Today I learnt new lesson starting with negative and positive words or sentences. It's about the book review, I had to find out how the reviewer dislike or like those books by finding the positive and negative in the sentences and how the reviewer thinks or gives opinion on that. The teacher gave me some sheet, and let me find some of the words of how the reviwer think in the book review ( it could be adjective or words which indicate the reviewer's opinion on those books.) I found that this lesson today was totally fun and challenging and it inspired me to learn more. I like this class.

Diary 10
Today we had crital reading exam, it's quite difficult I just did some of them. Then we learnt about the author's purpose, author's tone, author's point of view and intended audience to understand what the passage or text is about. Then the teacher gave us some sheets, we learn a lot from that, we practice how to find the author's tone, point of view etc. I found that this lesson was interesting because the lesson today made me think of how to find main idea systematiclly and easily without guessing. The lesson today was quite as hard as the test but it's challenging. However, I'll improve myself.

Diary 9
Today I continued lessons from last week, she asked me to share and exchange my idea about the First Grader to my partner and then we answer the questions from the first grader's story. After that, the teacher asked us to do activity in group, it's about an imigration work sheet that we've prepared. Then we shared idea to each other about an imigration. I found that this lesson today was not too difficult but it's challenging. However there're a lot of mistakes I did. I'll improve it.

Diary 8
Today the teacher led me to the lesson by writing the words on whiteboard and giving sheet, then we had to answer the question insheet "What important things do people learn in school? What important things do people learn outside of school? what were the most useful things you learned in school?" then I answered in my own opinion then we had a short break, after that the teacher taught us some exercise in sheets and let me and my friends watch the film called " The first grader" acted by Oiver Litondo. The movie is about an old man wanted to learn in primary shool, he was refused many times to learn, but finally he could. It's an interesting movies, I like the proverb he said " you're never too old to learn" this movie also reflect his old hard life in the past, how he passes the crisis while he's young till he's old. It taught me value of life. Everyone has its own value and we're never too old to learn. Learning makes lot of great man. I like this lesson today so much.

Today we didn't have a class but we had a conference at SU building, the teacher offered us to go there and join the activity. The conference is about ASEAN, there were many guests and teachers here. I listened and wrote down into what I learned because the teacher ordered us to write the information what we learned.

Diary 6
Today I learned just one lesson but it took time and it's difficult. It's about the age of immigration, I had to find the main idea in each paragraph by using technic that given in each paragraph, for example one in first paragraph we had to scan forward through the paragraph and number the factors, then come back and continue reading for the main idea. Then the teacher gave me the project of research, we had to find the information about an immigration of each country which we can choose one country.

Diary 5
Today I learned new lesson, it's about main idea. Before starting class, the teacher led us to the lesson by writing the word main idea on the whiteboard and asked us "what's the main idea? " then I wrote down the meanings of the main idea on my note book, then teacher asked me what's the main idea? I answered that it's the main sentence which indicates the passage or paragraph is about. Finally, the teacher told me the meaning of main idea it's the important sentence that the writer expresses in a paragraph, often but not always. Then teacher gave me a sheet, it's living in a multicultural society, then we started to practice the exercises about finding main idea, the teacher gave us some tips to find the main idea easier, first we have to read the first sentence and form hyphothesis about what the main idea of the paragraph will be, then read the next sentence and ask does the information in this sentence support my hyphothesis? if no, perhaps it changes the subject, you revise hyphothesis to fit the new information. I found the difficuty in this lesson is hard to find the main idea but it's challenging and help my brain thinking. However, I'll mak it easy by reading a lot and trying to fing some new tricks.

Diary 4
Today the teacher started teaching us by giving sheet, it's about fact and opinion. Then teacher offered us to set group, 4 people in one group and then we had to think and distinguish fact and opinion. The teacher gave us to write five sentences for what should be the facts and write five sentences for what should be the opinions, then we shared. Finally, we quite understood how different between fact and opinion. Then teacher gave us some new sheets. It's about the passages, we had to read the passage carefully to find the answers and answer the questions below. It took time but I was fun with finding and reading the clues of the passages. At the end of finishing lessons today the teacher said that we would have a quiz but it took a little bit time so today we didn't have quiz, I was very glad. In my opinion I think the lessons today is easier than any lessons that I've learned and it's more relaxed. I feel good and want to learn more about "Critical reading"

Diary 3
Today, teacher started writing the word Sushi on the whiteboard, then she asked us to discuss about it by thinking of How many things are reletive to Sushi. Then we practiced the exercises in sheets, it's about popular culture reading. We analyzed the passage, found the meaning of the words, then we shared what we did. I learned a lot today. It's still an interesting class. I found easy in this lesson today is the teacher led me to the lesson by giving interesting word and good devices but the difficulty of this lesson today is finding and analyzing the passage, the answer is not told on the paragraph directly so we need to identify, paraphrase and find the answers. It's hard but challenging!!

Diary 2
Today the teacher shew me Monaliza's painting on the screen, and she's tricking me and friends of what was this painting kept in? Was this painting drawn by? At the first time I knew a little bit details about this, then she gave me a question " How do you feel about this picture?" She offered us to write an answer down to paper and gave me five minutes to finish the question. Then she chose some volunteers to show what they have written about Monaliza's painting. Some gave a good opinion and some gave his own thinking and feeling about it. It's different ideas that we shared to each other I think it's very useful for me. Then she gave me some sheets, she explained about the details in sheets. Before finishing class, the teacher gave me a paper sheet to write down the answer about " what's critical reading? Why's critical approach important to reading?" Then I answered the question. I found easyin this subject that the lesson today's challenging and I was inspired to learn more about critical reading.I found difficult in this subject that there're some unfamiliar words in sheets that I don't know well, moreover it's hard to understand some sentences. However I'll improve my skills to understand more some unfamiliar words by reviewing and remembering them in sheets.

Diary 1
Today I learned about critical reading with Aj. Usa , I'm very happy and glad to learn with her again. The first time she sent me a course syllabus and asked everyone what's critical reading? we can say that we do not know it after that we gradually know what it means, how it effects on work or how important it is. I think this subject will be a way of having fun, I think I'll know more about critical reading but something I can easily find in this topic today is what critical reading means and something I find difficult in this topic today is why critical reading's hard to understand? However, I'll try to learn more about critical reading, hopfully, I'll get some ideas to identify it and get more meanings about critical reading.
